To win a Pick 3 prize in New Hampshire, you need to match all the numbers you select, according to the requirements of the bet type you have selected. For example, there is no payout for getting two numbers out of three if you play a Straight.
You win 500x your bet amount if you select a Straight and match all the numbers in exact order. If you wager the maximum $5, this means there’s a potential payout of $2,500. The How to Play page goes into more detail about all the bet types and how you can win. See the following table for all the amounts you can win, along with the odds for each bet type.

All the prize amounts are fixed, so you are guaranteed to receive the full advertised payout if you win. To ensure these amounts never need to be reduced, the Tri-State Lottery has imposed a liability limit of $100,000 per state. This means that the New Hampshire Lottery would have to stop taking bets on a particular number being drawn if there were so many tickets bought that $100,000 would be paid out in total to all winners.
You can collect prizes of up to $599.99 from participating New Hampshire Lottery retailers, or mail in your winning tickets to the following address – Attn: Claims, New Hampshire Lottery, 14 Integra Drive, Concord, NH 03301. If you win $600 or more, you can also visit the New Hampshire Lottery Headquarters in Concord to claim the prize in person.
